Hooks Municipal Court will be holding its annual Amnesty Program for the whole month of February!
For a limited time only the Municipal Court of Hooks is offering warrant amnesty as a goodwill gesture to individuals who face arrest and other penalties due to a past failure to appear (FTA) at court. Under the program outstanding warrants issued before February 1, 2020 will be cancelled and the warrant fee/collection fee will be waived, thereby allowing individuals to resolve their outstanding court case.
The Hooks Municipal Court is a Save Haven which means, if coming in to take care of warrants, defendant will NOT be arrested. Now is the time for citizens to take advantage of the warrant set aside and resolve all delinquent court cases. Once the amnesty period ends the City of Hooks will aggressively enforce all active warrants.
Citizens are encouraged to contact the court immediately in order to avoid arrest in the future.
Form of payments accepted will be credit/debit card, cash, check, or money order. If paying in cash, please come in to City Hall at 603 E. Ave. A Hooks, Texas 75561. If mailing a payment, please make checks/money orders payable to the city of Hooks and send to City of Hooks Municipal Court PO Box 37 Hooks, Texas 75561.
